Project Overview
COVID-19 created new obstacles for in-person performances, especially indoor ones with singing. Yuval Sharon, then beginning his tenure as the company's artistic director, opened with an innovative and safe production: a drive-in opera staged in the theatre's own parking garage, with each level depicting scenes from a Wagner adaptation.
Our illustration brings the performance's iconography, fire, horses, a golden ring, and rivers, into a multi-level garage filled with familiar parking imagery: stencil typography, directional arrows, and signage.
